• Human review of reports, and removal of anyone who breaks our Community Guidelines.

Smart habits for meeting someone new

• Keep personal details private at first — no home address, workplace, or financial information.
• Have a video or phone call before meeting in person.
• Meet in a public place for the first few dates, and tell a friend where you'll be.
• Never send money to someone you haven't met in person — no matter the story. This is the single most important rule.
• Trust your instincts. If something feels off, slow down, and use the report or block tools.
